Speaker: Mike Denny

Well-known local naturalist and educator Mike Denny will be giving a talk about European naturalists who explored this region in the 19th century. Mike Denny is a Quest instructor at Walla Walla Community College where he has taught for 16 years. He is the past President of Blue Mountain Audubon and sits on the board of the Community Council. He was involved in the creation of the series “Secret Life of the Forest: The Northern Blue Mountains” with editor and photographer Daniel Biggs. Drawing on his vast wealth of knowledge of the Blue Mountain habitat, Denny’s writing and narration brings the beauty and splendor of the natural world to life.
