How has music been used throughout history and across different groups to keep teams of people working together? Join us for this evening of music and discussion at 6:30pm in the Grand Hall.
Richard Monacelli, Nancy Monacelli, and Dan Clark are bringing history to life with demonstrations of different music from indigenous groups, French-Canadian fur traders, railroad workers, vikings, and more. They will show how these teams of people were able to work more efficiently and uniformly through singing songs in a particular tempo or engaging in call-and-response.
This event is free to the public; donations are encouraged. Light refreshments will be available.
