If these walls could talk...

Join Steve Wilen and Susan Monahan as they delve into the history of two of their favorite Walla Walla homes: the John Langdon home on Isaacs and the H.P. Isaacs home on Brookside. The presenters will tell the intriguing stories and secrets of these two historic houses: who built them, who has lived there, and their significance to the rich history of Walla Walla.

Susan and Steve are die-hard history nerds who pretty much live in the past. Even though they never like to play favorites, when it came to choosing two out of the many historic Walla Walla homes to talk about, it took little time to settle on the Langdon and the Isaacs homes. These two houses have it all: character, changes over time and extraordinary residents.

And in a town where there are virtually no degrees of separation, it should come as no surprise that a resident of each of the houses--Grace Isaacs and John Langdon-- were partners in creating the most loved public space in Walla Walla.
